Job Description

Position:

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Prepare and record vouchers (Payment, Receipt, Journal, Contra).
Handle vendor bills, purchase entries, sales invoices, and credit notes.
Bank reconciliation and cash book maintenance.

2. Taxation & Compliance

Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
Assist with TDS deduction, payment, and quarterly TDS return filing.
Maintain proper documentation for audits.
Coordinate with CA for statutory compliances.

3. Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet status, and financial MIS reports.
Track outstanding payments and follow up with customers.
Monitor expenses and prepare expense reports.

4. Inventory & Purchase Coordination

Coordinate with store and purchase team for GRN, purchase orders, and invoice matching.
Support stock audits and maintain records of consumables and material movement.

5. Payroll Support (If applicable)

Maintain attendance records and salary statements.
Process overtime, leaves, and reimbursements.

6. Audit Support

Assist internal and external auditors by providing required data.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all financial records.

Skills & Qualifications

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Minimum 1–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing industry preferred).
Proficient in
Tally ERP, Excel, and GST/TDS compliance
.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and documentation.
Good communication, accuracy, and time-management skills.
