Job Purpose

• Provide Urban Planning related inputs for preparation of overall port Master Plan, Review the overall traffic network, utilities and zoning of various port related storages and industries for further augmentation and proposals within Port Master Plan area by balancing growth, sustainability, and community needs.
• Carry out Detailing for urban planning, zoning of the areas and utility network establishment for the port Master Plan and ensures the fulfillment of dynamic business needs for each port locations. Assist with drawings for implementation of planning projects and proposals.
• Transport planner in the Planning & proposal discipline will ensure process driven, cost effective, quality oriented & time bound delivery of relevant deliverables as per the requirement of client / other disciplines and within the agreed response time.

• Designing and planning infrastructure such as ports, roads, and urban layouts.
• Preparing feasibility and detailed project reports for multipurpose infrastructure.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with stakeholders for seamless project execution.
• Study and implementation of Traffic and transportation proposal for economical dispersal of port cargo.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct research on demographics, land use, transportation, and environmental factors.
• Develop zoning plans, infrastructure layouts, and public space designs.
• Collaborate with government officials, developers, and community stakeholders.
• Use GIS and modeling tools to analyze spatial data.
• Review site plans and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead public consultations and incorporate feedback into planning decisions.

Educational Qualifications & Experience required for the role.

Qualification

• Bachelor or Master in Urban Planning,

Experience

• Minimum 5-9 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, and planning software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related road and infra engineering
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
