As a strategic leader in this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market coverage, and enhancing customer impact in India. In terms of client and stakeholder engagement, you will lead CXO-level engagements, collaborate with clients on campaign design and performance optimization, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to enhance customer lifetime value. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing a large-scale inside sales operation with over 60 team members, fostering a data-driven and high-accountability culture, and coaching program managers and sales managers to improve performance through metrics, dashboards, and best practices. Collaboration with internal functions such as marketing, delivery, and sales operations will also be essential to streamline go-to-market alignment. To excel in this role, you should have at least 19 years of experience in B2B inside sales and demand generation, preferably in the IT or IT services industry. As a SaaS Renewals Representative at Commvault, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets within a defined territory that includes current Commvault customers. You will play a crucial role in a dynamic and passionate team that is dedicated to completing the Land-Adoption-Expand-Renew journey for accounts. Preferred candidates will have an understanding of the importance of Annual Recurring Revenue and associated metrics. Collaboration is key in this role, as the SaaS Renewals Representative works closely with field Account Executives and Customer Success Managers (CSM) to ensure success. While teamwork is essential, the Representative should also be able to independently close sales opportunities. This position primarily involves inside selling, with communication primarily conducted via telephone, video conference, and email. Your responsibilities will include proactively engaging customers throughout the renewal sales cycle, managing the renewal process from opportunity to invoice, identifying and closing upsell/cross-sell deals, coordinating with assigned CSM, Partners, and Distributors, diffusing difficult situations, and maintaining customer satisfaction with SaaS and Subscription products. Additionally, you will contribute to the development of new processes and initiatives within a goal-oriented framework. To excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, a minimum of 4 years of renewal sales or inside sales experience, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, proactive in increasing sales revenue, possess strong analytical and negotiation skills, and be comfortable working in a team environment. Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred but not required, and a deep understanding of customer retention strategies is essential.
