Underwriter

As a Non-QM Underwriter (Subprime) at our company located in Ahmedabad, Pune, or Mumbai, you will be responsible for working in US Shifts (EST, PST, CST, MST) and applying your expertise in live loan underwriting within the US mortgage domain. Your primary focus will be on evaluating borrower profiles, making decisions on loan files, and collaborating with brokers to ensure seamless processes. Your key responsibilities in this role will include reviewing and underwriting live Non-QM/Subprime loan files, making critical decisions such as approvals, denials, conditional approvals, and final sign-offs, as well as working closely with brokers to ensure adherence to relevant underwriting guidelines. To be successful in this position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Non-QM or Subprime loan underwriting, with direct exposure to reviewing and underwriting loan files rather than just backend/processing tasks. Additionally, prior experience working with brokers would be highly advantageous in fulfilling the requirements of this role effectively.,
