Uk Tax Analyst

Talent Formula (www.talentformula.co) is a consulting firm that offers outsourced financial and accounting Human Resources to Chartered Accounting firms worldwide. We currently have a position available with our client. This role offers a unique opportunity to be the team member based in India. You'll be working closely with a well-established team located offshore. This setup provides good learning opportunities and direct exposure to offshore team from day one, working directly with Senior Executive Assistants

The purpose and aim of job is to ensure all work undertaken is carried out in accordance with the firms procedures. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of each assignment

As a UK Corporate Tax Accountant, you will support multiple assignments and manage the delivery of UK tax assignments to time, budget and quality standards.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing advisory work such as, quarterly reports, instalment payment and capital allowance reviews or R&D claims
• Providing support on due diligence exercises and similar projects
• Assisting with annual Employer & employee Returns for clients
• Undertaking a number of tax related administrative tasks
• Helping to build and maintain and deliver an excellent client service.
• Working alongside audit colleagues on annual tax assignments

About you:

• 5+ years of experience
• Previous experience in a UK tax compliance role
• Qualified or ACA / ACCA/CA qualified or having any finance degree
• Excellent up to date technical knowledge
• Be fully aware and conversant with compliance standards imposed by the various regulatory authorities for tax and audit
• Commercially astute, with a keen analytical and problem-solving mind
• Organised and able to plan time efficiently in order to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently, or as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
• Professional and discreet in demonstrating client care
