UK Accountant

Job Description: You will perform detailed financial preparation procedures and assist in the preparation of Financial Statements, Draft accounts, and compliance with Statement of Recommended Practices. Your responsibilities will include detailed scrutiny of financial statements of UK-based companies for compliance with legislative accounting standards (UK GAAP or IFRS) regarding disclosure to stakeholders, checking for accuracy and consistency, and performing a quality review of the financial statements. The role will consist of 70% financial work and 30% bookkeeping work. Your main job responsibilities will include Preparation of Financial Statements, Computation of Corporation Tax/ Trust Tax, and Preparation of Quarterly and Annual Management Accounts. Qualifications Required: - 2 years of experience in UK Accounting (Preferred) - 2 years of experience in Xero (Preferred) Additional Details: The work location for this role is in person. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including paid time off. The schedule for this role is a day shift, Monday to Friday.
