As a UI/UX Designer at our company based in New Delhi, India, you will play a crucial role in creating user-centered designs for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and developers to ensure visually appealing and functional user interfaces are developed. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role: - **UI Design**: Assist in creating visually appealing and functional user interfaces for websites and mobile apps by designing layouts, components, buttons, and icons. - **Wireframing & Prototyping**: Support the development of low-fidelity wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and mockups using tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar platforms. - **User Research & Analysis**: Conduct basic user research, such as interviews and surveys, to gather user feedback and understand user needs and pain points. - **Usability Testing**: Participate in usability testing sessions, analyze results, and make data-driven design decisions to enhance the user experience. - **Collaborate with Teams**: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions align with business goals. - **Design Systems & Style Guides**: Assist in maintaining and contributing to design systems and style guides for consistency across digital products. - **Iterative Design Process**: Revise and iterate on designs based on feedback from team members, stakeholders, and users. - **Stay Updated**: Keep abreast of the latest design trends, UI/UX practices, and tools to improve design skills and knowledge. In terms of qualifications, we are looking for candidates who possess: - A degree or diploma in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. - 1-2 years of experience in UI/UX design, with a portfolio showcasing work across digital products such as websites and apps. Additionally, the following skills are required for this role: - Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar. - Familiarity with design principles such as typography, color theory, and layout. - Understanding of user-centered design methodologies and basic user research techniques. - Strong attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. - Good communication and teamwork skills. While not mandatory, the following skills would be considered a plus: - Basic knowledge of motion design and animation. - Ability to incorporate accessibility (WCAG) considerations into designs.
