UI/UX Expert & UI Lead

As a UI/UX Expert & UI Lead at our company located in Thane, you will leverage your 7+ years of experience in UI/UX to provide strong hands-on expertise in design and frontend delivery leadership. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating with product managers, BAs, and stakeholders to gather and comprehend business requirements. You will create user-centered designs such as wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma, defining UX flows, information architecture, and visual hierarchy. Moreover, you will lead the frontend/UI development team to effectively translate designs into responsive, high-quality web and mobile interfaces. By conducting design reviews, you will ensure high usability, visual consistency, and brand alignment. Working closely with developers, including those proficient in Flutter, React, Angular, etc., you will guarantee a smooth handoff and implementation process. Your role will also involve driving best practices for UI design and frontend coding within the team while overseeing the UI delivery roadmap and team performance. The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong hands-on expertise with Figma, demonstrating proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, components, and design systems. A deep understanding of UX principles, UI trends, and responsive design is essential, along with proven experience in leading or mentoring frontend/UI teams. Additionally, you should have a solid grasp of frontend technologies, with familiarity in Flutter preferred and React/Angular/HTML/CSS considered a plus. Strong collaboration and communication skills are crucial for effective teamwork across various departments. Furthermore, your ability to balance creativity with functionality and performance, coupled with proficiency in the Design Thinking Process, will be instrumental in your success in this role. Desirable skills include experience in conducting user testing or A/B testing, understanding accessibility standards, exposure to design-to-code handoff tools like Zeplin, and animation/micro interaction design experience.
