UI/UX Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design engaging and intuitive user experiences for our digital products, ensuring they are visually appealing and user-friendly. The ideal candidate has a passion for design, a strong understanding of user-centered principles, and the ability to bring ideas to life through innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. User Research and Analysis:

Conduct user research to understand target audiences, their needs, and behaviours.

Analyze research findings to create user personas, customer journeys, and use cases.

2. Design and Prototyping:

Create wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.

Design user interfaces with a focus on accessibility, responsiveness, and user-centric design principles.

Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define design requirements and objectives.

Present and communicate design ideas and solutions effectively to stakeholders.

4. Testing and Iteration:

Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and refine designs.

Iterate on designs based on user feedback and project goals.

5. Tools and Technologies:

Utilize design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or equivalent.

Familiarity with prototyping tools like InVision.

Experience and Skills:

3–4 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer

A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of projects and your design process

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or Adobe XD

Understanding of responsive design, typography, and color theory

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Specialized Fields:

Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience Design

Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial arts (BFA/MFA)

Bachelor’s Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI)

UI/UX Design certifications (e.g., from Google, Coursera, Udemy, or similar)
