UI UX Intern

As a UI/UX Design Intern at Fireblaze Ignite, you will be responsible for the end-to-end wireframing and user-flow design for the various modules. Your role will involve translating product requirements into intuitive interfaces, collaborating closely with product managers and developers, and contributing to delivering a best-in-class user experience. You will create low- and high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mockups for LMS, ERP, and HRMS modules using tools like Figma or Sketch. Additionally, you will be involved in defining UI elements, guidelines, and interaction patterns for consistency across the product in a shared component library. Assisting in user interviews, surveys, and usability tests to synthesize feedback for design refinement will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaborating with product managers, developers, and QA team to ensure that designs are feasible, accessible, and aligned with technical constraints is crucial. Furthermore, preparing detailed specifications, style guides, and redlines to facilitate a smooth handoff to the engineering team will be an essential aspect of your role. To qualify for this position, you must be pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field. A strong portfolio demonstrating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows for web or mobile apps, proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, and a basic understanding of HTML/CSS principles and responsive design are must-have requirements. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with design systems and component-based UI libraries, familiarity with ERP or HRMS workflows, exposure to user-research methods and usability testing, and knowledge of accessibility guidelines.
