Job Title: Intranet Front-End Developer

Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Front-End Developer with expertise in front end development to join our team. As a Front-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly interfaces for our digital workplace. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and understand requirements for digital workplace solutions.


• UI Development: Design and develop widgets, templates, and custom components to enhance the user experience. Customize and extend themes to align with our branding guidelines and design specifications.


• Intranet Optimization: Optimize our Intranet for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.


• Responsive Design: Implement responsive designs that adapt to various devices and screen sizes for a consistent user experience.


• Front-End Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues, debugging code and identifying potential areas for improvement.


• Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with Akumina platform updates and latest industry trends to continually improve development practices.


• Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for all developed components and features.


• Deployment Support: Assist in the testing and deployment of solutions to staging and production environments.


• Hypercare: Provide technical support and assistance during the implementation and post-implementation phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.


• Proven experience (2 years) as a Front-End Developer with specific expertise in Akumina preferred but not required.


• Proficiency in web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.


• Experience in working with widget development, theming, and customization.


• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.


• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration of third-party services.


• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.


• Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to address them.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.


• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


• Experience with other front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue. js is a plus.


• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is an advantage.

Here primary ask is for Lead level 8+, very strong on Front-end React JS, any one of cloud, with a willingness of learning Akumina.
