The Applications Development Programmer Analyst position is an intermediate level role where you will participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your primary objective will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. In this role, you will utilize your knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, along with a basic understanding of other technical areas, to identify and define necessary system enhancements. This may involve using script tools, analyzing/interpreting code, and driving experiments to assess new solutions/application paths. You will be expected to work proactively and independently to address project requirements, while articulating issues and challenges at the appropriate time to mitigate project delivery risks. Following industry best practices to minimize technical debt of software deliverables will be a key focus, as well as interfacing and coordinating tasks with both internal and external technical resources. Qualifications for this position include a Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, along with 2-4 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML concepts is required, as well as hands-on experience with UI tech stack including React and Typescript. Experience with Backend technologies such as Java, Spring, and SQL is a plus. The ability to work independently and coordinate across teams to resolve dependencies, along with proficiency in Functional and Technical Specs documentation, will be essential for success in this role.
