Ui Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented UI Support Engineers and UI Developers to support and enhance reusable, accessible, and secure web components for our Ethos Design System (EDS). This role involves modern web technologies, real-time debugging, performance optimization, and multi-framework integration. Experience with StackBlitz, accessibility, and Sonar is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reusable web components using Lit, HTML, SCSS/CSS, and TypeScript.

• Implement unit testing (vitest) and E2E testing (Playwright).

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI across devices.

• Convert Figma designs into functional and accessible components.

• Integrate EDS components into Angular, React, Vue, and TypeScript applications.

• Provide real-time debugging and UI support across various products.

• Use GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity.

• Ensure WCAG 2.1+ accessibility including screen reader support and keyboard navigation.

• Implement internationalization, multi-lingual, and RTL support.

• Optimize performance, rendering, and bundle size.

• Follow cybersecurity best practices in UI development.

• Use Sonar for monitoring and maintaining code quality and technical debt.

• Prototype components and scenarios using StackBlitz.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and design system governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency inLit, HTML, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with

  vitest, Playwright,

  and modern testing strategies.

• Familiarity with

  GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted development.

• Strong experience translating

  Figma designs into code.

• Proven ability to integrate components into

  Angular, React, and Vue frameworks.

• Solid understanding of

  WCAG standards and tools like axe-core or Lighthouse

  .

• Experience with

  i18n, multilingual, and RTL layouts.

• Good understanding of performance optimization techniques.

• Awareness of cybersecurity principles in frontend.

• Experience using

  Sonar for code and security analysis.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Experience using

  StackBlitz for rapid prototyping.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience contributing to a design system.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and agile frameworks.

• Understanding of web component standards and custom elements.

• Experience with accessibility audits and automated testing tools.
