UI Designer

Role Overview: Risevertise Media, a design studio focused on enabling brands to effectively communicate stories and create exceptional user experiences, is seeking a talented UI designer to join their team. As a UI designer, you will play a key role in designing and shaping unique, user-centric products and experiences. Your responsibilities will include making deliberate design decisions and translating user-experience journeys into smooth and intuitive interactions. Key Responsibilities: - Be a great team player with experience in agile teams, collaborating closely with developers, copywriters, and UX designers. - Create, improve, and utilize wireframes, prototypes, style guides, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction ideas. - Present and defend design decisions based on the overall design roadmap, design thinking, and fundamental principles such as color theory and visual weight. - Stay updated with the latest industry standards and changes to continually enhance your skills and those of your design team. Qualifications Required: - Two or more years of education experience with a proven track record is a plus. - Portfolio showcasing your work to be presented and defended during the interview process. - Hands-on experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, and user flows. - Proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Sketch, Illustrator, InVision, UXPin, and Quartz. - Understanding of basic front-end languages like HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript. - Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative ideas. - Experience working in an agile/scrum development process. - Openness to receiving constructive criticism and improving based on feedback. Additional Details: Formal design education background (NID, SID, MIT, UPES, Srishti) is a plus, but the primary focus is on passion, a desire to learn, and the drive to continuously improve. Basic design foundation knowledge and skills are also valued. Preference will be given to less experienced professionals dedicated to personal growth and development, willing to be guided and mentored.
