Job Description

UI Automation EngineerAbout the Role:Quantum Corp
is seeking a self-motivated and experienced UI Automation Engineer to join our team
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our user interfaces
The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation and a strong background in continuous integration and delivery
Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for our web and desktop applications
Integrate automation tests into our CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies and quality standards
Maintain and manage test artifacts using version control systems like GitLab and GitHub
Troubleshoot and debug issues in automation scripts and application code
Contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes and practices
Required Qualifications:At least 5 years of experience as a UI automation engineer
Proficiency in Python for test automation
Proven experience with CI/CD processes and tools
Strong understanding of version control with GitLab or GitHub
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with test reporting tools like Allure
Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Familiarity with additional programming languages, such as Java
Prior leadership experience in a testing or quality assurance role
Knowledge of file system interactions and testing
Experience with Vue3 or similar front-end frameworks
