UFT One Architect ( Unified Functional Testing) - WFO

You should have 10 to 20 years of experience for this permanent job role, where you will be working in the office. The budget for this position will be based on your experience. As an experienced professional, your key responsibilities will include architecting and designing testing solutions by leading the design and architecture of automated testing frameworks using UFT One. You will be responsible for ensuring high scalability, performance, and maintainability. Additionally, you will develop and implement robust test automation strategies with a focus on functional, regression, and performance testing. You must ensure smooth integration of UFT One frameworks into the overall testing lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines to drive continuous improvement of testing processes. Your role will also involve providing technical guidance to the testing and development teams, mentoring junior team members to enhance their skills in test automation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and QA teams, will be essential to ensure alignment and successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Managing testing timelines and ensuring timely delivery of automated tests that meet the required quality standards will also be part of your responsibilities. You will need to identify performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to enhance the efficiency of automated testing. Preferred skills for this role include experience with performance testing and integration with other tools such as LoadRunner and JMeter. Knowledge of cloud-based testing solutions and integration with cloud services, as well as experience with test management tools like ALM, Jira, and Jenkins, will be beneficial. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additionally, you must have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in UFT One or HP QTP, with a strong background in test automation. Extensive experience in software architecture, integration, and implementation of test automation frameworks is required. You should have a strong understanding of test automation best practices, CI/CD, and integration of testing tools with development workflows. Proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript and JavaScript used within UFT One for automating tests is essential. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills are also necessary for this role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as you will need to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments will be considered a plus for this position.,
