Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare detailed

  UAT test plans, test cases, and test data

  based on business requirements.
• Execute

  User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

  and document test results with accuracy and clarity.
• Identify, log, and track

  defects/issues

  using project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps).
• Work closely with the Agile team during

  sprint reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups

  .
• Support end-users during UAT cycles, including coordination, defect triage, and re-testing.
• Validate that delivered functionality meets

  business needs and quality standards

  .
• Assist in

  release readiness

  and

  post-implementation verification

  activities.
• Verify that new features and updates work as intended from an end-user perspective.
• Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Provide clear, concise feedback on test results and system performance.
• Communicate with developers and project teams to resolve issues identified during testing.
• Assist in training business users to test and use the application effectively.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation for audit purposes.

Required Skills, experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in software testing with a focus on UAT.
• Strong experience in user acceptance testing and functional testing.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test plans, test cases, and defect tracking.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Quality Centre).
• Experience of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in preparing test cases, test data, and executing test cycles.
• Familiarity with defect management tools like JIRA, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP).
• Familiarity with SQL for basic database querying.
• Experience in using performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).
