Job Description

Apex Business centre is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Document Typist/Data Entry Operator proficient in both Punjabi and English to prepare, type, and manage legal documents related to land registry, property contracts, sale deeds, lease agreements, and other legal paperwork. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of legal terminology and formatting while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities: - Accurately type, format, and proofread legal documents (land registry records, sale deeds, lease agreements, affidavits, etc.) in Punjabi and English. - Verify and cross-check legal documents for errors, consistency, and compliance with legal standards. - Maintain and organize digital and physical records of legal documents. - Communicate with clients for document clarifications when needed. - Ensure timely submission of documents while maintaining confidentiality and data security. - Assist in translating legal documents between Punjabi and English if required. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience in typing legal documents (land registry, contracts, deeds, etc.). - Excellent typing speed and accuracy in Punjabi (Gurmukhi script) and English. - Familiarity with legal terminology related to property and land records. - Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PDF editing tools. - Basic understanding of property laws, registration processes, and land records is a plus. - High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines. - Prior experience in a law firm, property consultancy, or government land records office is preferred.
