Typescript Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a strong Typescript developer experienced in integration.

Years of experience needed –

• Relevant experience of 5+ years.
• Prior exposure to integration projects or file-based data exchange is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Primary:

• Strong proficiency in

  TypeScript

  (mandatory).
• Experience with

  Node.js/Angular/React

  frameworks.
• Testing frameworks:

  Jest, Cucumber

  .

• Secondary:

• Familiarity with Java/Scala (basic understanding for integration).
• Knowledge of REST APIs, integration patterns, and CICD pipelines.
• Basic SQL scripting and database concepts (PostgreSQL preferred).

• Tools & Platforms:

• IntelliJ IDEA, AWS Lambda, Terraform (basic), ADO (Azure DevOps).

• Key Responsibilities:

• Develop outbound file generation logic using TypeScript within AWS Lambda functions.
• Work with Java/Scala-based backend and TypeScript projects for integration stories.
• Implement and customize file formats (834 EDI, delimited, fixed-width, and custom formats) using existing base classes.
• Write unit tests (Jest) and integration tests (Cucumber) for developed features.
• Create and manage requirements mapping (ID-value pairs) and associated SQL scripts for data insertion via CICD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product Owners (POs) and SMEs to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Follow Agile practices: participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and maintain audit-ready documentation
• Minor updates in Terraform for Lambda deployment (no deep AWS expertise required).
• Work with IntelliJ IDE and PostgreSQL (via AWS Aurora) for development and testing.

• Domain Knowledge (Preferred):

• US Healthcare EDI standards (especially 834).
• Understanding of carrier/vendor integration workflows.

• Soft Skills:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-bound environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-time-zone coordination.
• Agile mindset and familiarity with Scrum ceremonies.
