Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Data Consumption Engineer are:

Data Analysis, Engineering, and Modeling:

Perform exploratory data analysis, data cleaning, and preparation. Develop and deploy machine learning models to generate actionable insights and recommendations.

Product Recommendation:

Develop and implement data engineering and ML algorithms to provide personalized product recommendations based on operator characteristics, online behavior, and sales data.

Operator Lifetime Value (OLV):

Single resource to

Work on data engineering pipelines and predictive models to estimate the lifetime value of operators, helping to identify high-value operators and optimize customer retention strategies. This involves analyzing transaction data, creating features, and developing statistical algorithms to predict future revenue.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and IT, to ensure the successful implementation of data-driven solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Reporting and Visualization:

Communicate analytic results to both analytical and non-analytical business partners. Create visualizations and presentations to convey complex data insights in an understandable manner.

Team Development:

Actively participate in team development activities, sharing knowledge and best practices. With team members contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment. Work closely with data engineers and data scientists in deploying models or setting up data pipelines

All About You

You are true passionate data scientist who has experience in improving marketing and/or sales efficiency using data analytics. You can support your team members with your knowledge in statistics and AI and collaborate with local data specialists to produce data-driven insights to drive impact. In addition, you understand each stakeholder s needs and translate those needs to potential data science solution that fits the best.

We look for someone who is a self-starter, has never finished learning, displays a can-do attitude and a natural drive to deliver impact. You don t mind working with strong deadlines, you use impact-based prioritization and display a certain level of candidness and critical thinking which you know how to use well and always in a respectful manner.

General Skills

Strong in Python

Previous experience in optimizing route and transportation costs

Strong intercultural communication and influencing skills - working Knowledge

Known with Agile way of working

Fluent in English

Advanced degree in analytics, data science, computer science, statistics, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of one year of professional experience as a data scientist or equivalent

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and Pyspark.

Skilled in SQL, Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

Strong knowledge of machine learning, statistics, and optimization techniques.

Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
