What are we looking for?
MySQLGenerative AIPrior exposure to triaging infrastructure or algorithmic issues (e.g., ranking, backend performance) 14.Understanding of A/B testing mechanisms and their impact on product behavior and reliability 15.Ability to support root cause analysis, including offering hypotheses based on trends, code ownership, and timing 16.Working knowledge of client-server architectures, APIs, and backend systems 17.Experience using pattern matching (e.g., regex), JSON parsing, or light scripting (e.g., Python) to support triage workflows 18.Ability to interpret and validate API functionality and request/response payloads 19.Comfort working with version control and understanding the role of code changes in issue emergence 20.Proficiency in dashboard creation to monitor health and performance indicators 21.Advanced usage of tagging, automation rules, and triage workflow optimization 22.Demonstrated experience maintaining SOPs, playbooks, or triage documentation 23.
Roles and Responsibilities: Ability to interpret and troubleshoot user-reported issues 1.Familiarity with software development and engineering workflows 2.Understanding of priority/severity frameworks 3.Experience triaging across multiple platforms or products in a fast-paced environment using logs and debug data 4.Familiarity with identifying the source of bugs across client, server, and infrastructure layers 5.Understanding of how algorithms interact with systems to spot issues like ranking and recommendation errors 6.Familiarity with emulator/simulator environments to aid issue reproduction 7.Basic proficiency in querying structured data to support trend analysis or issue clustering (e.g., SQL) 8.Ability to extract insights from structured and unstructured logs using common log analysis tools 9.Familiarity with debugging interfaces and monitoring systems commonly used in modern software ecosystems 10.Exposure to metrics and dashboard tools to support data-informed triage 11.Ability to onboard quickly into complex product ecosystems and demonstrate high attention to detail in documentation and issue tracking 12.Proactively communicate relevant insights, flag systemic or recurring issues, drive clarity, completeness, and actionability for Engineering 13.
