Travel Sales & Operations - International

As a Travel Sales Assistant, your main responsibility will be to assist in the sales of international travel packages. This will involve collecting and analyzing clients" travel preferences, budgets, and specifications to suggest suitable packages and services. You will also support in preparing quotations and customized proposals while learning and implementing sales techniques to engage and convert leads effectively. Another key aspect of your role will be to help with itinerary and quotation preparation. This includes drafting travel itineraries for various international destinations, making modifications based on client feedback, and staying updated on travel trends, visa requirements, and destination highlights. You will have the opportunity to gain in-depth destination knowledge by working with travel packages for destinations like Dubai, Singapore, Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Maldives, Hong Kong, and Mauritius. Additionally, you will learn to handle packages for Europe and the U.S. while staying informed about visa processes, travel guidelines, and the best travel routes. In terms of post-booking coordination and support, you will assist in liaising with airlines, hotels, and tour operators. Your role will also involve supporting clients with itinerary modifications, cancellations, and on-trip assistance to ensure a seamless travel experience. To excel in this role, you should have a passion for travel and tourism, along with basic knowledge of international destinations, visa processes, and travel guidelines. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and travel management software will be advantageous.
