Job Description

Handle bookings: Assist customers over the phone or offline to book new flights, change existing reservations, or cancel bookings.  Provide information: Answer questions about flight schedules, availability, fares, baggage allowances, and other airline policies.  Manage reservations: Use specialised computer systems (like Amadeus) to enter and update passenger information and booking details accurately.  Process payments: Accept and process payments for tickets, upgrades, and other services securely.  Resolve customer issues: Address customer complaints and solve problems related to delays, cancellations, overbookings, or lost luggage.  Offer additional services: Promote and sell ancillary services like hotel bookings, car rentals, or travel insurance to enhance the customer's trip and meet sales goals.  Maintain records: Document all customer interactions, transactions, and requests in the reservation system.  Coordinate internally: Liaise with other departments, such as ground staff and flight operations, to share important information.
