As a Traveler Counsellor at Amex GBT, your main role is to deliver exceptional travel service experiences to Corporate Business Customers. Working as part of a high-performing team, you will provide first call resolution and top-quality customer service to ensure client satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing the service relationship and customer experience by offering creative and timely travel solutions using available tools and technology. **Key Responsibilities:** - Operate in a 24/7 team with variable shifts, including days, nights, and weekends - Act as a Travel Advisor and Consultant for Corporate Business accounts - Handle Domestic & International travel requirements using Global Distribution Systems (GDS) - Provide consultative advice, solutions, and recommendations to clients - Proactively sell additional services such as Hotel and Car bookings while adhering to travel policies - Ensure compliance with legal standards, required training, and sanctions - Meet individual/team goals, review metrics for performance improvement, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements - Provide excellent customer service in a telephony and Multi-Channel servicing environment - Maintain client relations, handle special requests, and ensure customer happiness - Adhere to call schedules, report variances, and support business metrics **Qualifications Required:** - Detailed understanding of fares and ticketing rules for various travel modes - Proficiency in one or multiple GDS (Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, Amadeus) - Experience in Business Travel reservation - Passion for delivering excellent client service - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to handle confidential information with integrity - Problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement - Good understanding of international routing, transit visa, and Indian geography - Ability to handle critical situations, adapt to change, and multitask effectively - Strong knowledge of travel trends and industry standard methodologies Additionally, the working hours for this role start between 5 PM - 12 AM, including overnight shifts and weekends. The location for this position is Gurgaon, India.
