Translator - Punjabi

The Associate Translator Punjabi will be responsible for translating an average of 3000-4000 words per day while upholding high-quality standards. In addition to translation tasks, the role also involves proofreading and editing content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to style guidelines. The Senior Translator must excel in the language they are working with and play a crucial role in maintaining consistency and quality by collaborating effectively with in-house teams and external freelancers. Key responsibilities include ensuring that translated content accurately conveys the meaning of the source language, editing and restructuring translations as needed to enhance quality, and generating Quality Control (QC) reports to document translation and editing processes. The Senior Translator should possess strong organizational skills, effective time-management abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality translations within specified deadlines. Proficiency in English and the native language, along with proven experience or understanding in translation and editing, is required for this role. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of work experience, a Bachelor's degree in Literature (specific language), and familiarity with translation tools or CAT tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the translation process. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is also desired for this position based in Bangalore.,
