Contact insurance companies to obtain necessary information. Update patient insurance information in billing systems. Data Entry and Record Keeping: Accurately enter patient demographic and billing information into billing software. Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records. Scan and index billing documents. Payment Posting: Post payments from insurance companies and patients accurately. Reconcile payments with billing records. Identify and resolve payment discrepancies. Customer Service: Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing statements and insurance claims. Provide clear and accurate information to patients. Maintain professional and courteous communication with patients and insurance representatives. Administrative Support: Assist with general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and answering phones. Assist the billing department with special projects as needed. Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (preferred). Basic understanding of medical billing terminology (a plus). Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations. Any experience in a medical office or billing environment.

The primary responsibility of this position is to work in a team environment to oversee and ensure the effective delivery of high-quality Executive Assistant (EA) support to identified/allocated executives, within the bounds of agreed and documented service levels as regards scope, quality, and timeliness.
