Transaction Processing Unit Manager

Job Description: As a Level 5 Transaction Processing Unit Manager in the Banking and Capital Markets domain for a Non-Voice BPS account (US Client), you will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 20 people. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring, identifying, and resolving performance/behavior/attendance issues using prescribed performance management techniques. - Conducting performance appraisals and providing constructive feedback to ensure team performance. - Providing Subject Matter Expertise and modifying operations as needed to meet service level agreements under the supervision of the Operations Manager. - Successfully completing all client-related training and holding team meetings with direct reports. - Communicating all process and client changes to direct reports within specific timelines. - Providing hands-on assistance to your team in case of issues, through direct intervention and mentoring. - Fostering the development of your team by motivating them, ensuring career advancement, and maintaining a fruitful relationship through timely and constructive feedback. - Ensuring timeliness on reporting and client deliverables and taking initiatives for continuous process improvement. Qualifications required: - Minimum of 2+ years of work experience in a similar BPO field, preferably in Banking and Capital Markets domain. - Experience in other BPO domains like Accounting, Insurance, etc., will be a secondary preference. - Experience in back office operations. - Very good knowledge of Process Domain - Capital Market, including Cash Management, Transaction processing, and insight into US Stock Market concepts. - Excellent communication skills for client and management calls. - Prior experience in team handling, preferably in the same industry for at least 2 years. - Strong people management and group handling skills. - Good technical/PC skills with proficiency in MS Office Tools. - Willingness to work in US Shifts (India Night shift) from 18:30/19:30 to 3:30/4:30. Certifications Needed: - Education: 12 + 3 Degree Education is mandatory, with preference for B Com, BBA, and BBM Graduates. - Additional certifications on Financial Aspects and Stock Market Subjects are advantageous. - No Tech Graduates (BE, B Tech, M Tech) are preferred.
