Job Description

As a member of the GSRS team at Google, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall safety and security of Google employees and events. Your role will involve developing a robust security framework to ensure the safety, security, and resilience of Google's operations, including incident response processes. You will be actively involved in identifying, assessing, and mitigating enterprise risks that may impact business activities, while providing essential information to business leaders for critical decision-making. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainable security strategies. **Responsibilities:** - Design and implement training programs for internal and external security teams to ensure the highest quality of security operations, integrating data security and physical security programs within the security operations center. - Develop and execute comprehensive security operations programs, enhance security toolsets, conduct drills, simulate scenarios, and prepare reports and analyses. - Manage or develop a team of security operations center analysts globally, as well as manage and lead a team implementing third-party security operations programs. - Identify security risks and threats across the entire security operations center and Google's third-party service provider locations, propose risk mitigation strategies, review and update industry-specific security standards, and communicate with relevant stakeholders and service providers. - Monitor the metrics of security operations programs and third-party security operations programs, identify trends, prepare reports, and develop improvement strategies, support investigations, and track incidents within the security operations center. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required. - Minimum of 12 years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or related fields. - Experience in leading a cybersecurity program providing assurance and compliance with security policies. - Experience in incident response, asset protection, or intellectual property protection. - Proficiency in root cause analysis, risk assessment, and departmental responsibility. - Knowledge of security infrastructure systems, such as intrusion detection systems, malware detection technology, CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, lighting systems, and visitor management software. - Understanding of data security principles, systems, and data protection methods. - Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the board, regardless of time zone. This job is based on ensuring the security and safety of Google employees and events, developing robust security programs, and collaborating with various teams to enhance security strategies effectively.,
