Job Description

As a Training & Placement Officer with 3-6 years of experience in skill development projects and placement activities, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating training programs and ensuring the industry readiness of candidates. Your responsibilities will include managing successful placement drives for students and trainees by collaborating with educational institutions, corporates, and industry professionals. In terms of Training Program Coordination, you will be tasked with developing and executing skill development programs that encompass soft skills, technical skills, and vocational training. By assessing training needs, you will design customized programs to enhance the employability of candidates. Working closely with trainers, external consultants, and industry experts, you will ensure the quality delivery of training programs. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of these programs will be key, allowing for necessary adjustments to be made. Regarding Placement Activities, you will build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, recruiters, and industry leaders to create placement opportunities for candidates. This will involve organizing placement drives, campus recruitment programs, and internship opportunities. Additionally, you will prepare and support students and candidates for interviews through resume building, mock interviews, and personality development sessions. Ensuring a successful match between job seekers and employers, tracking placement success rates and feedback will be essential. Stakeholder Collaboration will require you to work closely with academic departments and industry partners to identify skill gaps and ensure industry-relevant training. By liaising with employers to understand their hiring needs, you will align candidate training accordingly. Organizing career counseling sessions and workshops to guide candidates on career paths and skill requirements will also be part of your responsibilities. In terms of Documentation and Reporting, you will maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, placement statistics, and feedback from both employers and candidates. By preparing reports on placement activities, success rates, and challenges, you will provide insights to senior management for continuous improvement. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) related to training and placement success will be crucial. To stay abreast of Industry Awareness, you will need to remain updated with industry trends, recruitment strategies, and skill development techniques to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective. Networking with industry professionals and attending conferences will also be necessary to understand market requirements and opportunities.
