Job Overview

Test Engineer

QA methodologies.

Responsibilities:

Assist in reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
Collaborate with senior Test Engineers to develop effective test strategies and plans.
Execute manual test cases under guidance and analyze results.
Support the evaluation of product code according to specifications.
Help create and maintain logs to document testing phases and defects.
Report bugs and errors clearly to the development team.
Assist in troubleshooting issues during the testing cycle.
Participate in post-release and post-implementation testing activities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development life cycle.

Skills and Qualifications:

Basic understanding of software testing principles, test case creation, and defect reporting.
Familiarity with source code control systems and issue tracking tools (e.g., Git, JIRA) is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Basic knowledge of databases (e.g., ability to execute simple SQL queries).
Awareness of Agile development processes and QA methodologies.
