Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our healthcare team. This position involves performing diagnostic evaluations, operating specialized equipment, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care. Duties Conduct diagnostic evaluations of patients' cardiovascular health using various techniques and equipment. Perform procedures such as cardiac catheterization, sonography, and telemetry monitoring. Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and prevent infection. Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to interpret test results and develop treatment plans. Document patient information accurately in medical records, ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards. Assist in emergency medicine situations by providing necessary support during critical care procedures. Stay updated on advancements in cardiology practices and technologies to enhance patient care. Skills Strong knowledge of cardiology principles and practices. Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques related to cardiovascular health. Familiarity with aseptic technique protocols to maintain a sterile environment. Experience with sonography and radiology equipment used in cardiovascular diagnostics. Understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures and protocols. Solid grasp of medical terminology relevant to cardiovascular care. Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy as it pertains to the cardiovascular system. Ability to respond effectively in emergency medicine scenarios, demonstrating quick decision-making skills. Proficient in telemetry monitoring and interpretation of data for patient assessment.
