  • POSITION OVERVIEW
  • Junior Engineer - Technical Services at Arabian Petroleum Limited, is a position on hybrid location primarily based in Mumbai. As a Technical Services Engineer you will play a crucial role in providing technical expertise and support to ensure the optimal performance and application of our lubricant products. This position combines engineering knowledge with customer interaction to deliver exceptional services and solutions. She/He will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams, clients, and industry partners to address technical inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and offer tailored recommendations.
  • JOB DESCRIPTION
  • The Reporting Authorities shall provide the full portfolio of services including, but not limited to:
  • Provide technical support to customers including troubleshooting, product recommendation and used oil analysis.
  • Provide technical assistance to Industrial & Automotive Businesses, Field Sales teams, Internal Sales teams and Channel partners to serve and cater the client requirements.
  • Communicate and handle complaints at various levels and liaise with client teams for the resolution of the queries.
  • Initiate and monitor Trials of various products and supporting the on-going trials at the client end through regular visits and by maintaining coordination and communication with stake holders.
  • Prepare lube chart, plant/equipment audits, lubrication surveys, product rationalization audits and conduct field trials, when necessary to support overall business strategy.
  • Should assist in identifying and developing new opportunities for obtaining customer recognised value through innovative thinking and benefit selling.
  • Attend and manage customer complaints arising in application or lubricant related reasons and to provide inputs to prepare RCFA reports.
  • Liaise with various internal tender and exports teams for related queries and fulfil the required documentations
  • Coordinate with QC and R&D teams over on-going trials and development related activities.

  • Should be able to understand APLs range of products and deliver value to the customers.
  • Responsible of maintaining Safety First principles and Job Safety analysis requisites during Client/Site Visits.
  • Should be able to carry out equipment inspection and pre-trial machine mapping individually and further create & submit inspection reports.
  • Will be required to conduct in-plant/on-site trainings, workshops, demonstrations to create awareness regarding handling, testing and managing lubricant products.

  • Experiences
  • 0-2 Years of experience in the field of Lubricants or Mechanical/Process Maintenance.
  • Qualifications
  • 3 Year full time Diploma course or 4 Year full time Degree (3 years Post Diploma) course in Mechanical, Chemical or Automobile Engineering.
  • Graduates with 3 years of relevant experience may apply.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Windows and operating Microsoft Office (Ms Word, Ms PowerPoint, Ms Excel)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹9,147.78 - ₹30,806.89 per month
