Trainee - Academic Counsellor

We are looking for An Academic Counselor Trainee provides guidance and support to students regarding their academic and career paths, typically working under the supervision of experienced counselors. They assist with tasks like scheduling appointments, conducting initial student assessments, and providing information about academic programs and resources. The role often involves developing communication and interpersonal skills, and gaining experience in educational settings.

Note : This is a Work From Home Job Role

Must Be Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Student Guidance: Providing academic and career advice to students, helping them navigate educational options and make informed decisions.
• Initial Assessments:Conducting introductory meetings with students to understand their needs and goals.
• Information Dissemination:Sharing information about academic programs, registration procedures, and available resources.
• Appointment Scheduling:Managing appointments and ensuring smooth communication between students and counselors.
• Administrative Tasks:Assisting with paperwork, data entry, and other administrative duties related to student support.
• Learning New Skills: Participating in training programs to develop counseling and communication skills, and gaining knowledge of relevant systems and tools.

Essential Skills Required :

• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for interacting with students and colleagues.
• Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport with students, understand their perspectives, and provide empathetic support.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Assisting students in identifying and addressing academic or personal challenges.
• Organizational Skills: Managing appointments, paperwork, and other tasks effectively.
• Basic Computer Skills: Familiarity with relevant software, online tools, and communication platforms.

Educational Background: Graduation or Equivalent.

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
