Letters of Credit (LC) Operations:

• Manage end-to-end LC lifecycle, including advising, issuance, amendments, and closures.
• Review LC applications for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Support clients in structuring and drafting LCs with optimal terms and minimal exposure.
• Liaise with overseas banks, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely and smooth execution.
• Track shipping documents, submission timelines, and payment schedules to prevent defaults.
• Process LC amendments, cancellations, and claims efficiently.

Acceptance Processing:

• Handle acceptance of trade bills in accordance with LC terms and UCP/ISBP guidelines.
• Verify all relevant trade documents (invoices, transport documents, certificates, etc.) for compliance and authenticity.
• Ensure timely processing of payments and resolution of discrepancies.
• Maintain acceptance records and update stakeholders on timelines and transaction status.
• Generate accurate reports on all processed bills, amendments, and payments.

• Bachelors degree in Finance, International Trade, or related field; professional certifications (CDCS, CSDG) preferred.
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in trade finance, especially in LC operations and acceptance processing.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, UCP 600, ISBP, INCOTERMS, and SWIFT messaging.
• High attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and risk awareness.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
