Trade Accounting

What youll do:

Onboarding clients on Client platform along with knowledge of settlements of OTC products/swap resets Investigate and explain B/S and P&L movements and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to resolve those breaks. Handling end-to-end onboarding of new clients; gathering requirements and showcasing our capabilities clearly. Managing stakeholders expectations; being proactive in identifying their needs, articulating the scope of the offering, escalating issues in a timely manner, and showcasing persuasiveness in bringing about changes Learn and enhance knowledge on complete Client platform/industry, not restricted to current area of expertise. Perform various activities like data gathering, GAP analysis, Mapping, Data transformation, Loading and reconciliation, BAU activities setup, Client parallel support etc in Client platform as a part of client implementation. Work with technology teams as needed, by assisting in special projects, developing bespoke reports, developing specifications, product implementation and UAT

What you'll need:

3 to 5 years of experience working in the trade accounting paired with in-depth domain / finance knowledge Strong understanding of the intricacies of daily trade, position, Swap MTMs & cash reconciliations against the prime broker/custodians /administrators Intricate understanding and experience of handling counterparty and admin reconciliations end to end. An in-depth understanding of the various stages of the trade life-cycle and strong accounting acumen Good understanding of investor allocations and PerformA onboarding exposure will be added advantage. Knowledge of wires platform and their relevant set up Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills and attention to detail Proven track-record of handling projects and improving processes Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude Effective oral/written communications skills Ability to work under pressure and take on additional operational tasks Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially MS Excel Hands on experience with VBA macros / Python will be a big plus
