Knowledge of the architecture and functionalities of the traction drive or auxiliary converter system Test execution capability on some of the following domains: Traction Systems (on Simulator, Bench and/or Train) Power Converters Drivers of converter Switchgear Components / Parts Thermal Measurement (Tools and process) Railways standards and regulation that can have impact on traction drives, auxiliary converters, and related components Knowledge of Electrical / electro-mechanical components (transformer, inductor, capacitor, resistor, contactor, fuse, circuit-breaker, transducer, relay, battery & chargers, pump, motorfan, heat exchanger etc) Knowledge of Sub-assemblies of a traction system (power module, control electronics, cooling system etc.) Understanding of Traction Functional Requirements and their implementation logic Understanding of Traction and Train level Schematics Understanding of Traction Logs / Traces Root cause analysis of functional failures and participate in 8D
