Traction Test Engineer

You'll play a key role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our traction systems. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business, such as the Traction Validation Engineers, Traction System Engineers, and Traction Test Laboratory Managers, while also interacting with external stakeholders like suppliers, subcontractors, and customer representatives.

Youll specifically take care of defining and implementing the most appropriate testing methodologies and means, but also developing test operating modes and analyzing test results.

Well look to you for:

• Defining the most appropriate test methodology, testing means, and developing test operating modes within cost, time, and quality objectives.
• Participating in the realization of the Validation Plan.
• Preparing and validating the equipment and configurations required for testing.
• Supervising and/or executing test activities, analyzing test results in real-time, and determining if retests are necessary.
• Writing detailed test reports and ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Capitalizing on lessons learned (REX) and contributing to continuous improvement processes.

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+years of Experience or understanding of traction systems, power converters, or electrical systems testing.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and processes.
• Familiarity with IT tools and data analysis techniques.
• A minimum B2 level in English (oral and written).
• Required electrical habilitation levels (e.g., B2V, B2V Essai, BE Essais, BR, BC, H2V, H2V Essais, HE Essais, HC).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
