Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Travel Specialist to join our dynamic team at TOURISHTA. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for curating exceptional travel experiences for our clients, leveraging your extensive knowledge of travel regulations, vendor relationships, and destination insights. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences while ensuring seamless travel planning from start to finish.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage personalized travel itineraries that meet client specifications, preferences, and budget considerations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and support throughout the travel lifecycle.
  • Negotiate with travel vendors to secure competitive rates and favorable terms, optimizing value for clients.
  • Stay updated on travel industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide informed recommendations.
  • Conduct thorough research to present clients with tailored travel options, including accommodations, transportation, and activities.
  • Handle travel-related issues and emergencies with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Train and mentor junior travel specialists to foster knowledge sharing and enhance team capabilities.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in travel planning, with a focus on corporate or luxury travel.
  • Strong understanding of travel industry regulations, supplier relationships, and destination knowledge.
  • Proven expertise in itinerary management, cost analysis, and travel logistics.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in travel management software and tools.

Preferred:

  • Experience in a leadership role, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Certifications such as Certified Travel Associate (CTA) or Certified Travel Counselor (CTC).
  • Knowledge of global travel trends and emerging destinations.

Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies

  • Expertise in travel booking systems and software (e.g., Sabre, Amadeus, or similar).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for budget tracking and reporting.
  • Experience utilizing CRM tools to manage client relationships.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex travel scenarios.
