Job Description

*Tool Design Engineer

*Key Responsibilities:

Design and detail *
*injection moulds, press tools, jigs & fixtures
** using CAD software.
Coordinate from the *
*design stage to implementation
** on the shop floor.
Collaborate with *
*manufacturing and product teams
** to ensure DFM (Design for Manufacturability).
Attend *
*tool trials
**, resolve design-related issues, and prepare technical reports.
Maintain *
*design documentation
**, BOMs, and revision logs.
Share *
*weekly work plans and completion reports
**.
Support and *
*mentor junior engineers
**.
Ensure compliance with *
*Connectwells Quality Policy and standards
**.

Preferred candidate profile

Diploma / Degree in *
*Mechanical or Tool & Die Engineering
**.
3–6 years of experience in *
*tool design
** (moulds, press tools, fixtures).
Proficiency in *
*SolidWorks, UG NX, AutoCAD
** (2D & 3D design).
Strong knowledge of *
*GD\&T, tolerances, and materials
**.
Experience in *
*precision tooling for terminal blocks or electrical connectors
** is preferred.
