Title Software Developer

As an Application Developer at UST, you will play a key role in developing applications by creatively selecting appropriate technical options and optimizing performance. Your main responsibilities will include: - Interpreting the application/feature/component design and developing them according to specifications - Coding, debugging, testing, documenting, and communicating product/component/feature development stages - Validating results with user representatives and integrating the overall solution - Selecting appropriate technical options for development, optimizing efficiency, cost, and quality - Influencing and improving customer satisfaction by setting FAST goals for yourself and the team In addition to the key responsibilities, you will be expected to: Code: - Code as per design and follow coding standards - Review code for your team and peers Documentation: - Create/review templates, checklists, guidelines, and standards for design/process/development - Create/review deliverable documents such as design documentation and requirements Configure: - Define and govern a configuration management plan - Ensure compliance from the team Test: - Review and create unit test cases, scenarios, and execution - Review the test plan created by the testing team and provide clarifications Domain relevance: - Advise Software Developers on design and development with a deep understanding of the business problem - Learn more about the customer domain to identify opportunities for value addition - Complete relevant domain certifications Manage Project: - Manage delivery of modules and/or user stories Manage Defects: - Perform defect RCA and mitigation - Identify defect trends and take proactive measures to improve quality Estimate: - Provide input for effort estimation for projects Manage knowledge: - Consume and contribute to project-related documents, SharePoint, libraries, and client universities - Review reusable documents created by the team Release: - Execute and monitor the release process Design: - Contribute to the creation of design/architecture for Applications/Features/Business Components/Data Models Interface with Customer: - Clarify requirements and provide guidance to the development team - Present design options to customers and conduct product demos Manage Team: - Set FAST goals, provide feedback, and ensure team engagement - Understand aspirations of team members and provide guidance Certifications: - Pursue relevant domain/technology certifications In addition to the technical skills and responsibilities, you should have hands-on experience in C# Development, MS SQL Server & SQL queries, working in an Agile environment, and an awareness of ReactJS, DevOps, HTML, and related skills.
