Title Senior IT Risk Associate

As a Senior IT Risk Associate working within the first line function of a dynamic technology team in Bengaluru, you will report directly to the IT Risk Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to offer IT Risk and Compliance support to the IT Risk Associates and various teams operating within the Technology domain. You will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and refining risks and issues present in the current technology landscape as well as in new systems and implementations. Your expertise will ensure the implementation of adequate governance and control measures, driving continuous improvements across our Technology controls environments and the first line technology risk and control function. To excel in this role, you must possess a strategic mindset coupled with robust technical skills and a proven track record in complex engagement delivery. Previous experience in IT risk management, compliance, policy design, and development is essential to thrive in this fast-paced and ever-evolving environment. An adaptable and flexible approach is key to successfully navigating the challenges inherent in this role. Your key responsibilities will include: - Establishing standard practices for managing operational risk within a first line function - Developing standard procedures and policy documentation for IT risks and controls in alignment with group policy requirements - Providing IT risk and control training to first line technology stakeholders - Supporting the professional growth of IT Risk Associates within the first line function - Identifying and analyzing Technology risks and assisting risk owners in addressing them - Generating standard documentation for risks and controls in compliance with group requirements - Collaborating with risk and control owners to ensure audit readiness for Technology areas and overseeing audit outcomes to completion - Working with action owners to identify technology issue remediation and improvements in the technology control environment, while considering their business impact - Compiling monthly risk materials and reports on IT controls status, assessment results, remediation progress, and management responses to audit findings for technology and other IG Group committees - Incorporating risk management into the first line operations. Qualifications: - Solid experience in IT risk and controls - Relevant professional qualifications such as CRISC, CISM, CISA, CISSP - Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and Risk Control Self Assessments (RCSAs) - ITIL qualification would be advantageous Key Skills: - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Enthusiasm for technology - Experience working in a global organization - Previous experience as a team lead - Interest in financial products This position offers a remarkable opportunity for an IT risk and controls professional to contribute to a market-leading organization and make a significant impact within the technology risk and compliance domain.,
