Title Sea Export Documentation Executive

As a Sea Export Documentation specialist at North Star Cargo located in Bandra, you will be responsible for handling the entire export documentation process, both pre and post shipment. Your primary duties will include preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, ARE-1 forms, and labels, as well as managing L/C documents and drafting Bills of Lading. Additionally, you will be tasked with arranging insurance documentation, Certificates of Origin, and maintaining a drawback list. You will also be responsible for communicating with logistic agencies to ensure all necessary documentation is completed on time and accurately. Moreover, you will be in charge of sending scanned copies of documents to customers upon receipt of the Bill of Lading and tracking the consignment until it reaches its destination. Furthermore, you will be expected to handle queries from customers, inform them of tracking numbers for couriers containing original shipping documents, and provide updates on any delays or early arrivals of consignments. You will also play a key role in sending samples to customers, collecting their feedback, and liaising with banks for negotiating bank documents related to shipments. To excel in this role, you must possess strong documentation, customer service, insurance declaration, communication, stakeholder management, and query handling skills. Maintaining coordination with various departments within the organization will also be essential.
