As a Sea Export Documentation specialist at North Star Cargo in Bandra, you will be responsible for managing the entire export documentation process, both pre-shipment and post-shipment. Your key responsibilities will include preparing commercial invoices, packing lists, ARE-1 forms, labels, L/C documents, insurance documents, Certificate of Origin, and B/L drafts. You will also be in charge of maintaining a drawback list and ensuring accurate documentation for each shipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating and following up with logistic agencies to obtain the necessary documentation. You will need to send scanned copies of documents to customers upon receipt of the B/L, inform customers of tracking numbers for courier shipments, and track consignments until they reach their destination. In case of delays or early arrivals, you will be required to promptly inform customers with the reasons behind the situation. Furthermore, you will be responsible for sending samples to customers, collecting feedback, liaising with banks for the negotiation of bank documents, and maintaining coordination between various departments involved in the export process.
