As a candidate with 3+ years of relevant experience in the supervision of surface preparation & coating activities, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Conducting stage inspections of surface preparation and coating processes. - Ensuring compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) procedures and conducting Tool Box Talks. - Collaborating with various departments for painting-related activities. - Creating Hazard Identification Documents and identifying environmental requirements. - Qualifying coating operators and establishing coating procedures. - Engaging with coating vendors to address technical queries. In terms of key relationships, you will primarily interact with the Execution and Quality Assurance/Quality Control departments internally, while externally, you will liaise with various stakeholders. Your key competencies should include: - Possessing technical competencies required for site inspections. - Demonstrating a customer-focused approach. - Exhibiting strong communication skills. - Understanding the relevant codes and standard requirements such as NACE and API.
