There is an opportunity with TIS Labs Pvt
Ltd

Position : Permanent

Role : Network Administrator

Location : PANINDIA

Notice Period : Immediate or 30 days max

Experience Required : 4+ years

Mandatory Skillset : Network Admin

Secondary Skillset : CCNA, Firewall, Cisco Switches, Cisco Routers

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Manage, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
Perform L2 support for network incidents, escalations, and problem management
Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Implement and maintain LAN/WAN, VPNs, VLANs, and Wireless networks
Conduct regular network health checks, patching, and firmware upgrades
Work closely with L1 teams to resolve escalated issues and provide technical guidance
Assist in implementing network security policies, access controls, and firewall rules
Manage IP addressing, routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and switching technologies (VTP, STP, EtherChannel)
Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
Support business continuity by maintaining backup, redundancy, and failover strategies
Collaborate with vendors and service providers for escalations and support
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 25 years of hands-on experience as a Network Administrator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of Cisco networking devices (Routers, Switches, Firewalls)
- Certification: CCNA (mandatory); CCNP or equivalent is a plus
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, ACLs, and IP routing
- Experience with network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, etc)
- Good understanding of Firewall technologies (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, etc)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in high-pressure environments
  Good to Have (Optional Skills)
  - Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  - Knowledge of VoIP, Load Balancers, and SD-WAN technologies
  - Familiarity with ITIL processes for incident, change, and problem management
