As a skilled Through-Hole Manual Assembly Technician at our electronics manufacturing company in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in assembling electronic components through manual insertion into printed circuit boards (PCBs) using through-hole technology. Your keen eye for detail, precision, and strong understanding of electronic assembly processes will be essential for excelling in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Accurately place electronic components onto PCBs following assembly instructions and engineering drawings. - Ensure proper alignment, orientation, and solderability of through-hole components. - Execute high-quality hand soldering of through-hole components to PCBs, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines. - Verify solder joints for completeness, cleanliness, and overall quality. - Perform visual inspections to identify defects, such as solder bridges, cold joints, and misalignments. - Conduct functional testing to ensure the proper functionality of assembled components. - Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working condition. - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment. - Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner. - Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor for resolution. - Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to address assembly challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - Stay updated on through-hole assembly techniques, industry trends, and technological advancements. - Train and mentor new team members as needed.
