Through hole assembly Technician

As a Through-Hole Assembly Technician in the field of Electronics Manufacturing based in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing team. Your primary responsibility will be to manually assemble electronic components using through-hole technology by inserting them into printed circuit boards (PCBs). Your meticulous attention to detail, precision, and comprehensive knowledge of electronic assembly processes will be key to your success in this role. Your key responsibilities will include accurately placing electronic components on PCBs according to assembly instructions and engineering drawings, ensuring proper alignment, orientation, and solderability of through-hole components. You will also be responsible for executing high-quality hand soldering of through-hole components to PCBs, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines, and verifying solder joints for completeness, cleanliness, and overall quality. In addition, you will be required to perform visual inspections to identify defects such as solder bridges, cold joints, and misalignments, as well as conduct functional testing to ensure the proper functionality of assembled components. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following safety protocols, and adhering to company guidelines to create a secure working environment will also be part of your daily routine. Your role will also involve completing required production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner, as well as reporting any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor for resolution. Collaboration with team members, engineers, and supervisors to address assembly challenges and implement continuous improvement initiatives will be essential.
