Threat Intelligence Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence from open-source, commercial, and internal sources.
  
• Track global cyber threats, threat actors, campaigns, malware, and vulnerabilities.
  
• Produce

  threat intelligence reports, briefings, and dashboards

  for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with

  SOC, incident response, and security engineering teams

  to operationalize threat intelligence.
• Maintain and enrich

  Indicators of Compromise (IOCs)

  , threat feeds, and MITRE ATT&CK mappings.
• Support

  threat hunting

  initiatives and proactive risk mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate and recommend

  threat intelligence tools, platforms, and automation workflows

  .
• Provide insights on emerging attack trends and potential impact on the organizations assets.
  
• Train internal teams on threat awareness and trends.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science

  , or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in

  threat intelligence, cybersecurity analysis, or SOC operations

  .
• Strong understanding of

  threat landscapes, TTPs (Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures), and malware analysis

  .
• Hands-on experience with threat intelligence platforms such as

  MISP, ThreatConnect, Recorded Future, Anomali

  , or similar.
• Familiarity with

  SIEM, EDR, network monitoring, and endpoint security tools

  .
• Proficiency in

  Python, PowerShell, Bash

  , or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation.
• Knowledge of

  MITRE ATT&CK framework

  , IOC creation, and threat actor profiling.
• Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with

  APT research, cybercrime tracking, or nation-state threat analysis

  .
• Certifications like

  GCTI (GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence), CTIA, CEH, or GSEC

  .
• Knowledge of

  cloud security threats

  (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in

  digital forensics, malware reverse engineering, or sandbox analysis

  .
• Familiarity with

  SOC automation, threat hunting, and threat intel integration with SIEMs

  .
