Job role :

PGT Mathematics Teacher (Female) - 11am to 6.30 pm

Qualification : MSC and BSC in Mathematics , BED

Working days : Monday to Saturday

We are looking for Female candidates from nearby Thane city

As a TGT / PGT Mathematics teacher for a CBSE board school, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing mathematics lessons for students in grades 6-10, ensuring they meet CBSE curriculum standards and develop a strong understanding of mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery:
• Plan and prepare well-structured, engaging, and age-appropriate mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum for grades 6-10.
• Use diverse teaching methodologies and resources to cater to different learning styles and needs.
• Create and assign various assessments, including quizzes, tests, assignments, and projects, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their performance.
• Prepare students for board exams and other assessments.
• Classroom Management:
• Create a positive and conducive learning environment that fosters student engagement and participation.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and ensure a safe and respectful learning space.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
• Student Support:
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students who are struggling with specific concepts or skills.
• Offer enrichment opportunities for advanced learners.
• Collaborate with parents and other school staff to address student needs and concerns.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to students exploring higher education and career options.
• Professional Development:
• Stay updated on current teaching methodologies and best practices in mathematics education.
• Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary projects and activities.
• Contribute to the overall improvement of the school's mathematics program.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field
• Master's degree in Mathematics or Education is preferred.
• Valid teaching license or certification.
• Experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level, preferably in a CBSE school.
• Strong knowledge of the CBSE curriculum and assessment methods.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
