Position : TGT English – Head of Department (HOD) Location : Ranipet, Tamil Nadu Qualification : B.Ed (mandatory), M.A. in English preferred Experience : 4–5 years (minimum 2 years in a leadership role preferred) Salary : ₹45,000 – ₹50,000 per month Type : Full-time, On-site Key Responsibilities: Lead the English department, ensuring academic excellence and curriculum delivery for middle and high school levels (grades 6–10). Mentor and guide English teachers; organize departmental meetings, lesson planning, and peer reviews. Design lesson plans, assessments, and enrichment activities aligned with CBSE/ICSE curriculum. Monitor student performance and provide feedback for improvement. Coordinate English language events, debates, and literary competitions. Liaise with school leadership on curriculum updates and instructional methods. Conduct parent-teacher meetings as needed. Key Skills: Strong leadership and classroom management skills. Excellent communication and presentation abilities. Proficiency in academic planning and evaluation methods. Ability to inspire and motivate a team of teachers.
